My Heartfelt Promise
Honoring the Power of Birth & Capturing the Moments That Matter
I still remember the first time I held my girls. How time seemed to pause, just for a second, before everything changed. And then, just like that, it all began to move so quickly. Sleepless nights blurred into first steps, and before I knew it, they were running ahead of me, hair wild in the wind, laughter trailing behind them. That’s why I do this. Because I know what it feels like to want to hold onto a moment just a little longer. Photography helps us keep those feelings close, and it would be an honor to help you do the same.
WHY IT MATTERS
I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, but everything changed when my daughter was born in 2015. Capturing her tiny stretches, her wild giggles, and every little in between moment made me realize just how powerful a single photo can be. At the same time, my lifelong fascination with birth started pulling me in even deeper. In 2020, I brought both passions together. I now document the raw, real beauty of birth and family life. It’s truly the most meaningful work I’ve ever done.

Through the Years
2009
Attended NAIT to become a vet tech
I've always loved animals and thought that's where my path was headed. Funny how life has a way of leading you exactly where you're meant to be.
2013
Married my husband, Errick
We met as teenagers, spent years in a long-distance relationship, and even traveled and taught English in Thailand together before finally getting married in 2013. Soon after, we moved into our first home together!
Lily was born
Soon after we were married, I found out I was pregnant. I'd always dreamed of becoming a Mom, but pregnancy came with its challenges. I battled HG, gestational diabetes, and an induction. After nearly 15 hours of labour, she arrived quietly, her first cry was the sweetest relief. Holding her in my arms was a moment that changed me forever.
2015
2017
Ava was born
Her pregnancy was smooth-no GDM, barely any morning sickness, and went into labour naturally. I stayed home as long as I could, but with each contraction, her heart rate dropped. I had a feeling the cord was around her neck- and it was, twice. But with just two pushes, she was in my arms, safe and perfect.
2020
Started my photography business
When the world felt like it was falling apart, I was starting something new. As a stay-at-home Mom of two busy little girls and one energetic puppy, I craved something just for me. I started with family sessions during a time when hospital visits weren't possible, and in 2022, I became a certified birth photographer through Birth Becomes You!

My Favourite Things
Life Beyond the Lens
My favorite place to be is home. Barefoot in the garden, hands in the soil, surrounded by my people, my pets, and far too many houseplants. I’m either outside tending to what’s growing or inside where it’s quiet and warm. A little quirky and deeply intuitive, I’m drawn to the pull of the moon, the changing seasons, and the stillness found in slow, thoughtful living. Most days you’ll find me with a cup of tea in hand, flipping through tarot cards or reading about the stars. Nature, energy, and connection are at the heart of everything I do.
