Birth moves fast.
Even when it feels endless, it blurs. Between the pressure, the pushing, the tears (yours or theirs), and that first breath. It’s hard to take it all in.
Your partner’s trembling hand. The midwife’s steady voice. The look in your eyes when you meet your baby for the first time.
You will remember pieces of it. But photography lets you feel it again.

how does birth photography work?
Once you book, I go on call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks. I’ll arrive when you're in active labor and stay about 1 to 2 hours after your baby is born to capture those first special moments. We stay in touch throughout your labor, and I’ll guide you on when it’s time for me to head your way.
Absolutely. We’ll discuss your preferences in advance, and you’ll always have full control over what is or isn’t documented. My job is to support and respect your experience every step of the way.
Can I still have birth photos if I’m not comfortable with everything being photographed?
Do you photograph home births, hospital births, and birth center births?
Yes. I document all types of births. Wherever you feel safe and supported, I’ll meet you there and adapt to the energy of your space.
When should I book my session?
For birth, the earlier the better. Most families book in their second trimester to ensure availability, as I take a limited number of births each month. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks, and family sessions are usually booked 1 to 2 months in advance.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we can absolutely discuss a payment plan that works for you. A retainer is typically required to secure your session, and the remaining balance can be split into manageable payments. I'm happy to find something that feels comfortable and stress-free.
Can I book multiple sessions together?
Definitely. I offer bundle options for those wanting to document multiple chapters such as maternity, birth, Fresh 48, and family. Bundles come with savings and a more connected experience from start to finish.
Will my photos be shared publicly?
Only if you say yes. Your comfort and privacy are my priority. Any image shared on my website or social media has been approved with full consent.
